" If you can speak, you can influence. If you can influence, you can change lives.
I believe that speaking confidently and having the courage to voice one's opinions is the most important skill set that any individual can possess. The confidence to voice ideas, and the courage to speak for oneself, are traits that many people lack. When I thought of what I could give back to society, this is the first thought that came to my mind. Thus our project 'UNFAZE' was born.
Being a Millennium Fellow gives me an exciting exposure and platform to connect with like-minded leaders from all over the world, who strive to create a positive impact in the lives around them. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Unfaze
Unfaze aims to help students of all age groups, particularly teenagers to feel confident about themselves, empower them to be comfortable in their own skin. To know it’s ok to be different and no one is going to hurt them because of that. A little bit of confidence goes a long way in helping individuals become successful.
Children are highly intelligent and have brilliant ideas but are unable to convey them properly to the world. This can be due to the lack of confidence, verbal and non-verbal skills, and fear of being judged. Textbook knowledge is not the only important source of quality education in the current world, it is essential that each child must be able to express their ideas and thoughts to make their dream projects or goals come true. We will be targeting school students and children in orphanages at the age of 10-14.
We will be helping them with fun activities and interactions in such a way that they won't even realize how their skills are being developed. We will also conduct regular events to evaluate and encourage students with some small perks and swags.
