Millennium Fellowship Project: Ending Period Poverty Project

The goal of my project is to inform and educate pre-pubescent and adolescent primary school girls about menstruation while debunking any myths and misconceptions that might negatively impact their day to day life. I plan to teach them how they can take care of their hygiene during their periods, for example, how many times should they change their pads and how they can wash their reusable pads. I also intend to work with other organisations that make reusable pads so we can teach the girls how to make their own reusable pads from cheap and locally available materials.
