United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Hazar Varsh

Hazar Varsh' is an initiative led by Millennium Fellows of RTM Nagpur University. Hazar Varsh addresses issues of capacity building which we can solve through doing partnership for engaging different categories of people and help them to grow personally and professionally as well throughout all the aspects. During the Millennium Fellowship Period (August-November 2021), 'Hazar Varsh' will be hosting minimum of 6 online events. These events will be a mix of educational, technical, mental health, employability skills, and other such webinars, which can help people to grow. We are aiming to reach out to more than 100 people combined across events.

About the Millennium Fellow

Shrutika Deepak Konde is a bright, kind, and hardworking B.Tech student specializing in Artificial Intelligence at the institute G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, India. She is born and brought up in Nagpur, India. For more than ten years, she studied in a Christian missionary school. Since the start, she was taught about how one attitude should be towards each other, to always help and be kind to each and everyone around us. She has always been passionate about helping others, being compassionate towards people who need it most, particularly women's health and rights. Mental wellness is something she wanted to create awareness in society. Throughout her high school years, she has done work of donating things to needy people and social justice movements which has helped not only personal but also on a professional basis. Having studied in girls' school, she knows the importance of girlchild education and plans on promoting it in future. Shrutika aspires to become an independent leader where she can contribute to society for the betterment of humankind.
