" The Millennium Fellowship has given me the motivation to go forth and do my bit towards bringing the improvements I wish to see in the world around me. The idea of working towards making the Institutions strong seemed pretty far-fetched, but with the community, at MCN I kept pushing towards achieving my objectives even through the pandemic. My belief is that institutions should be pillars that support the monument of Justice for all tiers of society and only amendments in law will not bring the necessary changes, it would require youth like myself to pledge our allegiance to the cause. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Institutional Justice and Peace through Consensus

Institutional Justice and Peace through Consensus is a project advancing SDG 16 and aims to provide youth the right tools to access, analyze, and use information. The project consists of four goals:

1. Create a network of schools and institutions. Where the idea of fact-checking and negotiation will be discussed. Here people would be made aware of tools to cut through fake news, deep fake, and misinformation. This will lead to less misunderstanding and promote dialog/peace.
2. Through regular polls (including the current policies and events) the opinions of people/ kids, women and various sections of the society (poor and workers/laborers) would be recorded and opinions were asked to be present in a logical way.
4. Audiences be made aware of human rights and the importance of the Right To Information.
5. Promotion of Birth registration and participation in the 2021 census. This is bound to help in getting the people from different sections of society to get the right representation and strengthen the institutions.
