" This wonderful journey of learning and change makes me feel honored to be a part of such a program. The exceptional group of fellows and their sheer commitment to make this world a better place pushes me to go beyond the limits and leave behind a legacy that guides our future generations. Here I want to quote Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who says, "Lives of great men all remind us, we can make our lives sublime, and, departing, leave behind us, footprints on the sands of time." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Folk's Town

The project, "Folk's Town" focuses on SDG 11 while aiming at making our cities more people friendly in Pakistan. I started this project because I believe we have very beatiful landscapes in our cities, however, due to poor urban mangement our cities lack the basic essence of sustainability and resilience. So moving forward, under this project I am working out on forming productive collaborations to spread awareness, bring in public-private partnership and actively engaging the youth to come forward and work in making our cities a better place for the future generations.
