Millennium Fellowship Project: Air Quality Inequity in New York City
Air Quality Inequity in New York City is a project that focuses on revamping the currently accepted Air Quality Index (also known as AQI) to better represent pollutants that are affecting the public health of residents in cities around the world.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ira Mittal is currently a senior at NYU Tandon School of Engineering studying Sustainable Urban Environments. She spent the majority of her life in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur before moving to New York City to further her interests in Urban Planning and Smart Cities. Through various research positions and her involvement in city government, she aims to dedicate her career to developing sustainable cities around the world.
