" I believe every individual deserves quality of life, health and education, every individual deserves to live a happy and fulfilled life regardless of any external factor. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship provides me a platform to lend my voice towards social change and to make impact in the community where I belong "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Alive Initiative

The Alive Initiative is a project aimed at promoting mental health awareness among Nigerian youths particularly students, it tends to debunk the myths surrounding mental illness and exposes students to the prevention, early identification and treatment for those in need.

During the course of the project, we would organize an event to create awareness about mental health, how the mind works and mental illness (its trigger factors, prevention and how to take precautions generally). We also plan to organize a counselling/theraphy session and support group for students having a mental health concern. About 20-50 students would be positivley impacted by this project.
