ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: SafePlace Project

Safe-Place Project is an initiative borne out of an intense desire in contributing to the good health and well-being of young folks.
It aims at reducing the prevalence of period poverty in low income communities and educating adolescents on matters pertaining to their sexual reproductive system.

We drive on physical outreaches and media advocacy in achieving this; creating a Safe-place for vulnerability and enlightenment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Favour is a self-development enthusiast saddled with soft skills such as time management, teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving. She has a keen interest in changing the status quo.

Favour Aremu is a 300L Pharmacy Student studying at Obafemi Awolowo University. She's a seasoned volunteer that has worked with quite a number of organizations like Slum and Rural Health Initiative, Blessed Health Spring, Acalypha, Teens Meet Online, Drug-Free Club, Connecting The Dot in bridging the gap in the health sector.

In her leisure time, she loves reading and journaling.
