" Excited to be among the Millennium Fellowship cohort is an understatement for me. Getting a platform to learn, unlearn, grow and meet with other young people from different backgrounds yet with a mind to see the world a better place, is a big joy for me. I am grateful for the Millennium Fellowship program. I am confident of a more refined me, with the necessary skills to contrbute my quota to societal/global transformation onwards. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: HEADWAY
For the world to progress, every citizen plays
an important role. Getting the young
generation to be equipped with the right
mindset that would make them good global
citizens, positioned for excellence, with
innovative minds, and also with the drive to
continuously learn and add value, would
eventually bring about progress and
development to the world at large. It begins
with each citizen. Starting off with the young
ones at an early stage is key; this is the
HEADWAY to global development.
PROJECT HEADWAY is about getting rid of
negative vices, wrong notions and mindsets
among young school children, setting them on
the path of commitment to growth, resilience,
selflessness and global progress.
We inspire, motivate and challenge them to be
the change the world requires for growth and
development, without compromising on
personal good morals.
The goal is to ENCOURAGE GLOBAL
CITIZENSHIP THROUGH EDUCATION,
this is to be accomplished by engaging in talk
sessions with the children at school,
organizing quizzes and giving out prizes, and
giving all the children a 40-days journey book,
which they would use to record their dreams
and resolutions progress.
