United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Impact Project
The Impact Project, is a program made up of bilingual volunteers students from different Central American countries at the University of the Ozarks. This initiative focuses on providing English classes online to people from Central America with the desire of learning or improving the language. The goal is to function as an educational bridge between people and better opportunities in terms of educational and professional growth.
About the Millennium Fellow
Daniela Flores is a first-generation student from Honduras. She is passionate about development through education. Daniela is a Business Administration major with a concentration in economics. When she found out that the positive impact of education is not just personal but also collective, she started advocating for opportunities for the less fortunate students. Therefore, Daniela served as a volunteer teaching English to teenagers in a local church. Besides, Daniela likes being involved on campus as a student mentor in activities related to leadership, cultural awareness, team building, and personal development. As a Millennium Fellow, Daniela seeks to gain experience in sustainable development to get more into development economics.
