" I am thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow and work towards the SDGs and UNAI goals along with other Fellows worldwide who want to make the world a better place through unique initiatives and projects. As a young student leader, I know the Millennium Fellowship will enhance my leadership skills to be able to help my community during the Covid-19 pandemic. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Student Initiative Against Misinformation (SIAM)

SIAM focused on combating misinformation around campus. By creating informative posters addressing misinformation and placing them in strategic places around campus, we wanted to make sure that everyone who saw the poster was aware of the increasing need to get correct information from fact-checked and trusted sources. Also, we focused on social media as a way of reaching more audience. We shared our page with people from our countries, which was useful because many people interacted with our posts.
