Millennium Fellowship Project: AstroEd
My project's name is AstroED which falls under SDG 4:Quality Education. Through this project, I am offering underprivileged kids an introduction to Astronomy, which most of them do not receive throughout their lives with the hope that some of them will find a passion for it and possibly make a career out of it.
About the Millennium Fellow
Shrey Gupta is a student at Punjab Engineering College currently pursuing Aerospace Engineering. He was born and raised in Chandigarh, India. Since a young age he has always tried his best to help the underprivileged, by understanding what kind of challenges they face in their day-to-day life. While growing up, he educated himself about the various social barriers around him, and in the world for that matter, and has always had a passion of making some sort of change for everyone's betterment. With this passion and a strong headed mind, he volunteered in various different NGOs, and has also always tried to make everyone around him aware about the different societal obstacles; with the hope of making some sort of contribution towards the society, irrespective how small it may be.
