ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will give me a chance to broaden my horizons and understand better how to effectively inculcate the SDGs in daily life. I hope to learn and imbibe qualities that make me a better citizen of the world. Gender equality and climate change are pressing issues in India and the fellowship will be a great way to channel and promote campaigns that help control climate change and empower and safeguard women "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Consent Conversation

Consent Conversation is a project to educate and familiarize young students with sex education, consent laws and consent education. This project aimed to mitigate the stigma around sex and consent by having open conversations and free questioning

About the Millennium Fellow

Smrithi Shree is a Electronics and Communication Engineering student at PES University, Bangalore, India. She has always had the drive and passion to work for the betterment of society and is the Head of The Changemakers' Society, an environmental awareness club. She is also an avid reader, part of the Model UN Society and has been learning Indian Classical Music since she was 8.
