" The actions I wish to take today are ineffective in isolation. Under the aegis of the Millennium Fellowship, my horizons of interaction will widen in engaging with a diverse and committed cohort throughout the globe. The subsequent collaborations, information exchanged, and skills attained shall assist me and each citizen of this world to achieve the UN SDGs by combatting global warming through unique but united approached. I look forward to grow and contribute to this world more than I did yesterday. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Redefining Education Amidst Diversity

Redefining Education Amidst Diversity is a multi-pronged programme targeted at improving the quality of life in rural India wherein the benefits of schemes are slow to reach and farfetched. The project has the following parts: (1) Giving Wings to Potential: Providing gender equal education and sensitization of people specially women for the restrictive constructs of like menses etc. The aim is to create awareness about medical, physical and emotional health and hygiene of these girls. (2) Legal Awareness: A lot of people do not know about the laws which affect them in their daily lives. The Programme project aims at making people aware of their rights and duties in a lucid way. (3) Stimulating Education in Environmental-Farming Discourses (S.E.E.D.): The project aims to act as a medium for evaluating and sharing best farming practices/information across the country to inspire a spirit of scientific and climate-conscious temperament within farmers.
