" I have always been an empathetic person wanting to achieve something for the less privileged in the society I live in. Being a member of the Millennium Fellow for the Class of 2021 would definitely bring out the best in me for the right cause. The experience I acquire from the Millennium Fellowship would give me an insight on the functioning of society and how much more I can do for the people. I am really excited to meet a lot of new faces with common interest and different perspective and most importantly, make this a meaningful journey. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Parivarthan
Project Parivardhan is an initiative to uplift those who are facing food scarcity in and around the state of Kerala. The main aim of this project is to distribute food packets to downtrodden people in various slums and poorer sections of the state. These food packets will be made from leftover food from various hostels and other institutions. At a later stage, leftover food will be collected from hotels and catering companies. The fund and expense needed for the smooth conduct of the plan will be collected through various fundraising activities. Fundraising activities can be like book sale where used books can be bought at a lower price or an art sale where creative crafts are made of broken materials at our homes.
