" The Millennium Fellowship allows students to gather their thoughts, ideas and passions in order to develop methods of serving others. By meeting other students who have similiar passions and the drive to make a change, we can develop strategic pathways to achieving our goals. I look forward to working with my colleagues to enhance our on-going project for serving members of our community. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Community & Me
Community & Me is an online resource that helps you find organizations to volunteer at and ways you can help make a difference. It includes over fifty local organizations and their contact information for you to easily access and find. The organizations are spilt into categories to help you find causes you are most passionate about. Each organization is listed with a brief description, address, phone number, and/or email, as well as a link to their website where you can find more information about them. I am always on the lookout to share local events and fundrasiers going on our FaceBook page so others are aware of all the volunteer opportunities they can do. Community & Me believes living a life focused beyond one's personal needs enables you to better serve the people around you and make the world a better place. Community & Me hopes to serve young leaders and activists a positive, inspiring platform to meet new people, gain new skills, and form new memories, all while giving back to others and their community.
