" I'm very excited to be part of the tight-knit community of like-minded individuals trying to better the world and am very grateful to have been given this great opportunity to learn and develop my skills regarding such important issues and goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Finding Futures
The project Finding Futures is an initiative in favor of the sustainable development of education. Indeed, it puts forward the access to Higher Education for teenagers coming from a disadvantaged background. Thus it works to reduce inequalities. The project works towards the UN Academic Impact Principles, and in particular towards ‘Access to Higher Education’ and ‘Addressing Poverty’. By providing the students with necessary skills and knowledge, such as financial literacy, the project completes their academic education through its practical character, and allows them to seize opportunities to reach a higher level of education. The goal is to bridge the gap in skills and resources between the life of a high-school student and an independent young adult.
