" Through the Millennium Fellowship, I am delighted to meet and get inspired by young leaders around the world who are committed to creating a positive change in society. I look forward to the space this programme provides for the growth of ideas and collective learning, as well as its action-oriented approach which motivates tangible impact in every community. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Education and Refugees Workshop Series

This project consisted of a series of workshops conducted during the autumn of 2021, attended by university participants, online or in-person. The organizing team promoted sustainable and sustained support for refugees and migrants by raising awareness in these workshops on the issues that refugees and migrants face in receiving an education. We invited experts, professors, or other guest speakers to present to the workshop cohort on issues of refugee education and actions, especially in relation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the United Nations Academic Impact Principles (particularly focusing on Goal 4 and Principle 3, respectively.)
