About the Millennium Fellow

Vanessa Bonareri Momanyi is a charismatic, passsionate and hardworking Actuarial Science student at Strathmore University. She served her highschool community as peer counselor to her fellow students where her passion to help the community did not end. Throughout her university years she volunteered as a social worker at the Port-Reitz Sub-County Hospital HIV/AIDS clinic and a caregiver at the Association of Physically disabled of Kenya (A.P.D.K). In both posts, she demonstrated remarkable charisma while dealing with the patients and great diligence with easing the load from staff members such as record keeping, Patient tracking(for the HIV clinic), laundry, cleaning, feeding and physical excercise for the latter association. It is without a doubt the great impact that she as a Millennium Fellow will have on the community.
