ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Unshackled

Unshackled is a step forward to break free from the shackles of inequalities, to emerge undivided and united. The creators of Unshackled are determined to break the stereotypes and barriers faced by people from different walks of life, on a daily basis. They are focused on addressing three specific issues which include menstruation awareness for women below the poverty line, the LGBTQIA+ community and the taboos faced by the sex workers of India.

About the Millennium Fellow

Saujanya is an enthusiastic learner. She wishes to bring about significant changes in the world. She feels passionately towards Human Rights and the environment. Saujanya later wants to pursue a degree either in Law or International Relations.
