Millennium Fellowship Project: IAESTE CI-TIET
IAESTE CI-TIET is a student chapter of IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) in my college that facilitates academic student exchanges in 80+ countries around the globe. The internships come with a stipend, to offer economic assistance to the students. So, one gets to go abroad and work-experience-discover a new culture and environment, and also boosts the academic profile of the student.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tanmay Gupta is a final-year undergrad pursuing his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India. He has an inclusive and empathetic leadership style, and is always open and curious to learn new things, he strives to always be the most competent person in the room. Under the fellowship, Tanmay aspires to achieve his objective of facilitating technical foreign exchanges for the students of his college and thereby promote UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent work and Economic Growth) and UN Academic Impact Principle 4 & 6 (Opportunity to acquire skills for higher education and global citizenship).
