" I hope to bring my unique creativity and talents to the program and address real world challenges with out-of-the-box, yet tangible, solutions that make real impact. I am passionate about improving socioeconomic opportunity in underserved communities and leveling the playing field for everyone, regardless of where they are from. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Heureka Accelerator

The Heureka Accelerator is a non-profit startup accelerator designed specifically for first-time, inexperienced student entrepreneurs. These are students on my university campus who have exciting business and social impact ideas but lack the skills and resources to put their ideas to action, because they have no previous experience and/or necessary mentorship and connections in their industry. The purpose of the accelerator is to act as a "boot camp" to help these founders reach their goals, especially with a focus on social impact, Sustainable Development Goals, and environmental, social, and governance goals.

About the Millennium Fellow

Andy is a rising senior majoring in managerial economics and minoring in accounting and technology management at UC Davis. His passion for global issues and sustainable development goals began when he was actively involved in Model United Nations during high school. Andy is a Boy Scout and an avid martial artist, tennis player, and amateur fencer. He plays the piano and clarinet, and hopes to master the guitar someday too. On campus, Andy is involved in student government through the Associated Students of UC Davis as well as the University of California Students Association.
