ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Gender Equality Community Project Uganda

Gender Equality Community Project Uganda is a community based project that had set goals of re embarsing gender equality on all the aspects of life.In a current situation where men have always been left out and only women emancipation has spearheaded the lead ,gender equality as a project is focusing on making sure that all humans are equitable and fully access their rights.

About the Millennium Fellow

Atigo Asianut Gloria is a bright, flexible and authentic bachelor student of Uganda Christian University.She was born in Uganda and resides in Mbale and still studying in Mbale,trully a Ugandan citizen.
Further more about her,Gloria has been passionate about bringing people to an equilibrium.This has been her dream all along because she has seen people encounter tough experiences which she believes she can be apart of their new journey in creating a positive change beacuse of her ideologies.
Throughout her high school and currently in her college years,she has successfully built more on her passion and started exploring more about gender equality as a sensitive aspect.She has approached those who have become victims and had conversations with them inorder to eradicate gender inequality.
Furthermore,she aspires to be in a professional field where she can work more outside her own efforts inorder to provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations Sustainable goals.
