United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Community Education Development Project Uganda
Community Education Development Project is a community based organization with the purpose of improving the education status in the community by supporting the vulnerable Children with scholarship, sensitizing them to know the purpose of education and why they need to be in school.
About the Millennium Fellow
Baguma Esther is a competent, intelligent, hardworking, and organized with strong leadership and management skills; she is studying Social Work and Social Administration at Uganda Christian University Mbale Campus. Esther has lived in the Community where she has seen so many vulnerable children who are out of school due to poverty and ignorance. Parents cannot afford school fees and some parents are ignorant to have never known the value of Education that is why she is ambitious to promote Quality Education (SDG 4) in her community. Joining Millennium Fellowship is a privilege for her to develop new skills, knowledge and experience at Campus as well as in the community working together with fellow students and the community people to advance that community Quality Education Goal and the project as a whole.
