Millennium Fellowship Project: Oral Health Literacy
Oral Health literacy project was done with an aim of improving oral health in communities. The goal was to empower local communities to find, understand, communicate and use information and services to make appropriate personal and community oral health-related decisions and actions.
About the Millennium Fellow
Peter Kabuye, Campus director 2021, is a vibrant fourth year dental surgery student at Uganda Christian University school of Dentistry. He’s a highly motivated student with keen interest in promotion of global oral health. This is premised on the high disease burden among communities in Uganda. For as long as he could remember, Peter has been passionate about health, finance and leadership. He’s a dynamic young person who seeks change through capacity building and realization of projects. He is an author for TheEconomicMisfit website. He’s an ardent lover of tennis and football (Chelsea F.C).
