United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Combatting Sexual Violence Against Children Through Advocacy

I reach out to children between of 17 years and below in primary schols and who are most vulnerable to the vice of sexual violence and educate them on the causes and effects of sexualk violence,where to seek help when sexually violated and how to protect oneself from sexual violence. I also reach out to stakeholders and follow up with them to ensure that children are accorded the protection they need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Syndia Chemutai is an ambitous strong willed and dedicated final year Law student aspiring to work with both indeginous and international humanitarian organisations to advance the respect of human rights in all spheres of life because they are sacred.
