United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Inspire Youth Uganda
Inspire Youth Uganda is aimed at equipping the youth in the community with skills through the use of their passion in order to eradicate poverty in the community and the country at large. Through this profjec, I hope to positively impact positively close to 250 persons in the community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tusiime Angela Basiima is an intelligent, out-going, passionate and principled young fourth- year law student at Uganda Christian University(UCU). She is a 21 year- old born in Ntungamo district, Uganda, and resides in Kampala . Angela is currently serving as the Chair person UCU Law Council. She has previously served as the Class Senate and Treasurer to the UCU Law Society Electoral Commission. Angela is passionate about advocacy for Women's equality, women's rights and social justice. This passion stemed from her constant interraction with the society through her contribution in the community projects. Angela has on several occasion served as a motivational speaker to the youth. she was invited to several High Schools to speak to the students. Angela aspires to work with International and local Organisations inorder to adduce her contribution to a wide scope of persons in various countries and continents.
