Millennium Fellowship means a lot to me as it creates an avenue for meeting and connecting with dynamic and like minded young people, to share ideas and intercommunicate with them, it also provides an opportunity for me to access world class trainings which will go a long way in upscaling the projects I intend to engage in the future as well as targeting the achievement of the SDG3— Ensuring healthy livelihood and to promote well-being for all at all ages in our society. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Inspire Your Health Initiative (IHI)
This project was initiated to create awareness on the importance of healthy lifestyle, Also to mobilise medical students and when necessary professional medical practitioners to volunteer in the conduction of public health campaign and awareness creation on the importance of certain diseases' prevention. Charity activities such as blood donation among others are also in mind as the project grows.
About the Millennium Fellow
Agbata Ikechukwu Joshua is a medical student at the University of Benin. He is a public health enthusiast and is passionate about creating health awareness and equipping the public with the necessary information and the basic skills needed for health safety.
He has over 2 years of experience in Health education which he acquired through volunteering and active participation in several health awareness campaigns while also undergoing his trainings.
He is an advocate of the SDGs.
