"

Millennium Fellowship Project: Family Planning Awareness Campaign

My project is to reduce the rate of poverty and promote good health and wellbeing. One of the root cause for poverty is lack of family planning programme. Family planning programme is essential to enable women decide on the number of children they can cater for to reduce the rate of malnutrition and inability to provide basic amenities for children.
My program aims to spread awareness on the relevance of family planning programme as a necessary scheme in primary health centres and other platforms for women to be educated. This is not only to reduce poverty but to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted disease through the use of contraceptives.
