" The world has so many problems with very few person's who are willing to solve these problems. I have always wanted to be part of the solution and not the problem, to be the reason why the hopes of people are restored, to show people that they are more than their circunstances, their problems and their fears. The Millennium Fellowship program is an opportunity for me to be the solution. To work with others, brainstorm ideas and execute processes that make others happy and restore's their hope- that is my idea of life. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Girl Power
The girl power project is geared towards changing the narrative of the Nigerian girl child. With a focus on SDG goal 5, the project aims to expose young children to the idea that the girl child in any society, no matter the context of religion, is more than the limits placed on her by society. The Girl Power project is an outreach that readily seeks to reorient young children, thus correcting the age-long belief of what a female child should be.
