Millennium Fellowship Project: Health For One, Health For All
The Health for One Health for All Initiative (HOHAI) is a project I initiated during my program in the Millennium Fellowship which was initiated in response to the wide gap between the rural communities and vulnerable groups and the urban areas and the when it comes to access to accurate health education and services.
Hence the aim of the project is to provide accurate health education on chronic diseases that are otherwise preventable with good and proper knowledge on it's prevention.
Hence I carried out a rural health campaign in a rural community titled: KNOW DIABETES FIGHT DIABETES, where we had a session for health education on the disease and it's complications and ways of prevention and management and also had screening test done for Blood glucose levels and blood pressure.Finally , drugs where given to those that needed it all for free ,they didn't have to pay for this services rendered.

Gideon Blessing Mamanah is a young Nigeran Medical student at the University of Jos.She has passion for serving humanity and gets excited being involved in things that will promote the well being of humanity.She is a very friendly person who loves meeting new People with like passion.She is a lover of peace and promote peace whichever way she can.She wants to see positive change around her and she believes it begins with her.
