ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Pace Initiative

Healthy pace initiative is a Millennium project in line with SDG3(Good health and Wellbeing). HPI is focused on giving comprehensive health education, which includes addressing health issues (understanding, preventing, and responding to them), demystifying myths, and clearing misconceptions with ways of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition through health webinars, videos, and infographics on several social media platforms.

About the Millennium Fellow

Angela Ashley-Osuzoka is a diligent, jovial, and excellent student of medical laboratory science at the University of Lagos. Through the timeline, Angela has built a strong zeal for the improvement of health and gender equality and repulsion of gender-based violence. Angela has participated in several seminars and walks to educate and create awareness on understanding, preventing, and responding to gender-based violence, whilst also participating in medical outreaches for health sustenance. Angela looks forward to contributing greatly to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
