" I am super excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I consider it a great opportunity to be part of an eco-system of student leaders charting social change across the globe. I am also esctatic because I believe this platform will open me up to world class training, mentorship, and networking opportunities that will help me become a better volunteer and change agent whose social impact is well aligned with the UNAI and SDGs principles.
My work is driven by a burning desire towards impacting others and making the world a better place via the pursuance of the Sustainable Development Goals agenda. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Future Skills

Project Future Skills is a Millennium Fellowship project that aims at providing inclusive learning opportunities to equip individuals with future proof and industry-relevant skills in line with the Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education). It aims at building a hub of digital natives with data and analytical competencies needed to secure their future in the ever-changing world of work through continuous upskilling and reskilling efforts.

This project focused on providing training on data analytics skills and tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI, and Structured Query Language (SQL). The aim of this project is to provide an opportunity for a minimum of 100 people to upskill and reskill to improve their relevance, earning potentials, and positioning for better opportunities in the technological space. The acquisition of these skills will contribute to human capital development which is pivotal to a progressive world.

Due to my undergraduate exams which coincided with the millennium fellowship timeline, I kickstarted the project at a later time, October 11th, 2021.
