ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The ReviveEarth Initiative

The ReviveEarth Initiative is a project that aims at promoting awareness among the masses on Climate change, its mitigation and impact reduction in the society through media platforms and physical outreaches to secondary schools. Our goal is to enlighten the populace on the negative effects of our actions on the environment and our water bodies. We also hope to ingrain into their subconscious how our collective effort towards a reformation can cause a positive change and a safer environment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Obagade Ibukunoluwa Oluwatoyin is a driven, passionate, well-oriented 6th(final) year medical student at the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria and currently resides and schools in Lagos. As a teenager, she had always dreamed and envisioned about making a difference in her community, society and globally which led her to pursue her dreams of becoming a medical doctor. She is also focused on the importance of Gender equity, equality, adequate education, health opportunities and female empowerment. Since when she started college up until now, she is a volunteer at several NGO's aimed at addressing these issues as well various student body groups. She hopes to continue to play her role towards making the world a better place and this opportunity of becoming a Millennium Fellow is of great honor and joy to her.
