" Desire to make an impact and the passion for a better society drives my work. I have always wanted to be a part of a fellowship that supports the active participation of youths towards achieving the sustainable development goals, and being a part of the Millennium Fellowship avails me that opportunity. As a Millennium Fellow, I'm exposed to working with like-minded individuals like myself to further develop my leadership and communication skills; which are pivotal. Through the Fellowship, I'll be able to acquire the necessary skill and experience required to effectively make a positive social impact. I'm excited to be in a Fellowship that will equip me with the tools needed to make a positive impact in the society and making it a better place at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Oral Health Movement (T.O.H.M)

The Oral Health Movement (T.O.H.M) is a project that is targeted at improving the oral health status amongst adolescents and adults in the society. Its focus is to create not just an awareness on oral health, but also to educate, inform, and give practical steps on how to carry out good oral hygiene practices such that it becomes an integral part of their lifestyle and even beyond that, it becomes a movement that continues even after the project ends.

This project informed and educated people on how to maintain good oral hygiene practices, avoid harmful oral habits and correct myths & misconceptions on oral health that will ultimately lead to the prevention of dental diseases as well as an improvement in their overall well being. It also motivated people to take charge of their oral health and by extension, their general health.
