In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellowship Project: SDGs Inclusiveness
The project was centered around SDG inclusiveness, making sure no one is left behind in promotiong the 17 SDGs. What we did was that we organize a secondary school outreach, where we were able to mentor, lecture and engage the students on why they should participate in promoting the 17 SDGs and how the world can be a be a better place starting from them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rhoda Fasanmi is a Nigerian and an undergraduate at the university of Lagos studying towards a degree in accounting but looking forward to starting a career in consulting(Project manager). In a bid to bridge the gap between theory and practice, She join an investment society on her campus.Aside that, she is also a Sustainable Development Advocate, ensuring she accomplish some of the SDGs on her campus . She enjoy reading books, both fiction and nonfiction. She read close to 100 books in 2020 during the lockdown and also tried my hands on few courses and skills.
