Millennium Fellowship Project: The Girl Child Initiative
The Girl Child Initiative (T.G.C.I) is a non governmental project led by Millennium Fellow Alabi Ore-Oluwa Favour. The Girl Child Initiative aims at addressing the good healthand well being of young girls between the ages of 9-15 of classes Basic 5 to Senior Secondary School 2. The T.G.C.I is a project that will involve visiting schools in Kwara state (October- December 2021) and it is going to host three physical events which will involve teaching, workshops and discussion about the menstrual cycle alongside souvenir distribution. At the T.G.C.I, we aim at reaching out to 1000 girls in Ilorin city
About the Millennium Fellow
Ojo oluwatosin blessing is a fourth year anatomy student of the university of ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria. Oluwatosin is a vibrant and excellent student with a passion for human right advocacy. She has served as a leader in various association during her secondary school days and she is currently a senator representing her faculty, the faculty of Basic medical science. She looks forward to a nation where the voice of everyone one is heard and she is ready to play her part.
