" My work is fueled by the desire to see people of all financial status not just surviving but living and living comfortably. I also believe that the ignorance of the citizens to certain facts are what leads to some of the mishaps present in the society.
Being a part of Millennium Fellowship will futher broaden my reach and more people can have access to the necessary information. I also get to network and share ideas with great minds. I am excited to start this journey with Millennium Fellowship and the great opportunities it will open me up to. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Let's talk about sex

People's desire to live a responsible, satisfying, and safe sex life, as well as their right to have children and the freedom to choose if, when, and how many they have, cannot be overstated. Adolescents' sexual and reproductive health needs are often unmet, despite the fact that they make up a significant proportion of the population. We are subject to a series of physiological, psychological, and social shifts in the African population that expose us to risky sexual behavior such as early sex experimentation, unprotected sex, and multiple sexual partners. If we are underprepared, this can lead to higher risks of early marriages, teenage pregnancies, unsafe abortion, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV and AIDS, and other life threatening sexual reproductive health problems. This is what birthed the idea of the awareness project. It involves educating people about all they need to know about sexual reproductive health.
