United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: EduReach 2021
The rural areas and urban slums are often time disadvantaged in terms of access to quality education. EduReach 2021 is a project that is aimed at eliminating all discrimination in education. This was made possible by:
-Organizing enlightenment programs, targeted at secondary school students on the importance of pursuing advanced education, inciting in them the enthusiasm and fueling the desire to pursue higher education.
-Organizing intellectual competitions-debates and quizzes where the participants will be awarded. This served as an incentive to the students to continue in the path of excellence.
About the Millennium Fellow
Michael Gabriel is a young, promising and purpose driven pharmacy student at the University of Uyo, Uyo. He was born in the small village of Esa Ekpo, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He has always been know for being passionate about education — Quality Education. This drive emanated from his determination to get quality education, despite his indigent background. He believes that every one has the right to getting sound and quality education. Right from his high school years, he has been partnering with philanthropists, advocating the relevance and need for quality education. Michael aspires to guide those who yearn for quality education, and also provide his own contributions in the development of the United Nation's Sustainable Goal.
