In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellowship Project: Let Us Be Sane
Let Us Be sane is a mental health initiative that advocates for mental health by creating educative and inspiring content ,hosting webinars,group discussions,interviews and possibly outreaches.Its a life long project aimed at helping individuals attain good health and wellbeing.This project is intended to be both a physical and online activity but mostly online,it also seeks to create more awareness about mental health and its importance.
About the Millennium Fellow
Izukanne Emmanuella Emembolu is a smart,innovative, young and globally competitive Pharmacy Student at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.She was born in Enugu,resides in Awka and is currently studying in School of Pharmacy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Agulu.For as long as she could remember, Izukanne has always been passionate about mental health, non communicable diseases, global leadership, public health and sexual health .This drive and passion translated itself from Izukanne 's experiences in the local and international community and her continous dedication to social action.Throughout her secondary and University days,she has successfully organised various philanthropic projects and public health outreaches which through her outstanding leadership,she plans to continue in the future.Izukanne aspires to be in a professional field where she can cultivate these advocacies further and provide her own contribution in the development of the United nation's sustainable development goals.
