" The need to make impact, the need to encourage creativity, the need to improve education and academic performance, the need to promote social awareness. These are what drive me to work. Being a Millennium Fellow offers me a priceless opportunity to gain the required skills and therefore improve my approach to problem solving and social impact which would have a direct positive benefit for my community and the world at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: We Teach Science

We Teach Science is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Michael Ejike Anokwulu. The project is targeted towards improving and boosting education by presenting challenging concepts in more understandable forms using computer-aided techniques like animations, illustrations and simple apps/webpages where required. The program, for a start, is targeted at the students of the faculty of Pharmaceutical sciences. We hope to directly teach the students then possibly prepare at least three videos explaining difficult Pharmacy-related concepts in simpler ways and positively impact the academic performance of at least 100 students in the faculty. We'd also attach some live or online quiz questions to test understanding and measure the impact of our classes and/or videos.
