" According to John F. Kennedy, Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other. I'm excited to be a part of the Millennium Fellow for so many reasons, of which one is the fact that I'll contribute my quota, no matter how little to my community and the society at large. I am motivated to do all I do by the people around me. I need people to believe in the goodness of society by the acts I do. I'm most grateful for the opportunity to be part of Millennium Fellow as I'm hoping to learn in the process. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lawsanaid

Lawsanaid is an initiative providing a platform for Law students and aspiring Law students with disabilities has grown so much. Over the past six (6) months since my graduation as a 2021 Millennium fellow, I'm very delighted with the impact we have been able to make at Lawsanaid. The value added to Law students across Nigeria using the initiative, Lawsanaid is one I'm very grateful to Millennium Fellowship for.

After my graduation, with everything I learned as a Millenium Fellow, I set up a team that has worked so hard so far. We have been able to secure so many partnerships from different organizations, including international organizations. We have been able to organize several mentorship sessions for the members of our community, which has done nothing but inspire them so much to believe that they can be anything they set their minds to be, notwithstanding their disabilities.

Currently, with our partnership with a Jamaican-owned platform, Blind Accessibility Tips, the visually impaired members of our community are being taught IT skills. We have done so much in a little time, and we are looking forward to doing even more in years to come.

Once again, I'm very grateful to Millennium Fellowship for the part they played in the birth of LAWSANAID.
