Millennium Fellowship Project: Mphamvu Agribusiness
This is a project aimed at addressing problems arising from hunger at a grassroot level, which is the community level, to be specific. The strategy implored is the rearing of chickens and gorwing of vegetables that provides the much needed nutrients at a cheap cost. This projects also offers mentorship to interested members of society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Born to a humble couple in Zambia, Bernard Semakwezi is a young man endowed not only with academic abilities but also entrepreneurship, artistic, musical as well as public speaking skills. Both natural and social sciences have a special place in my heart because the two are intertwined in different ways. My love for natural sciences led me to decide to pursue human medicine while my love for social sciences led to teach myself business and entrepreneurship. My leisure time is spent on painting, music and public speaking as I am the president of the Debate and Speech Society at my university campus.
