" It is an honour to be selected as a Millennium Fellow. Not only is it an amazing opportunityto actualize the intended positive social impact of my project, but also a chance for me to build my leadership skills. My project entails peer mentorship, and what better way to do it than as a fellow among my peers? "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Unlimited Perspectives
Unlimited Perspectives is a peer mentorship program between high school and university students that seeks to raise career awareness among the former group. This is by getting university students in different fields of study to mentor high school going students on their career choices.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hanifa Mohamud Ibrahim is an amiable and passionate fourth year medical student at The University of Nairobi. At an early age, she was able to identify a gap that exists in career mentorship for Kenyan students. And so, she vowed to make a difference for those that came after her. Her ardency in the advocacy of proper career awareness for Kenyan high school students was hence born, while she herself was still one.
As a future doctor, she hopes to further this by mentoring future hopeful doctors.
Hanifa is also passionate about sketching and playing the violin.
