ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: SaveOurPlanet

SaveOurPlanet is a project led by Misbah Shakeel to shed light on the climate crisis happening in the world. Without safer environments our future is uncertain and it risks the health of all people. The project will engage the youth and elders of our community through open discussions and participation in activities that will be both fun and educative. During the fellowship period SaveOurPlanet will have hold a minimum of 3 activities a minimum of 1 online session. We aim to reach a minimum of 150 people.

About the Millennium Fellow

Misbah Shakeel is a smart, curious student at the University of Nairobi. She was born and raised in Mombasa and is currently pursuing a degree in medicine at the university of Nairobi . She is very passionate about her career and has always been eager to learn more and succeed. She wants to create a positive impact in the society and help as many people as she can to follow their dreams. Her leadership skill are outstanding and loves to work with other people to meet a certain goal.
