United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project KUCSA
Project KUCSA is a Student based organisation that is aimed at community based activities to provide students with the opportunity to nurture their talents, gifts, abilities and also leadership skills in our community. Sports and charity events, mentorship, tree planting, clean ups, digital literacy to the community are among the activities we engage in. The Group is to create a platform for students in tertiary institutions to serve their communities with the best of intentions at heart.
About the Millennium Fellow
Irungu Peterson Kung'u is a brilliant, brave and determined young leader. He was born and raised in Limuru and now resides in Nairobi, Kenya where he is a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying Student who believes in suistainable and environment friendly construction in his profession. Peterson is a thrilled and passionate scout, environmentalist, social change maker believing in creating a better world through advocancies on human rights, social justice, environment reclamation and better education. Engagement in community projects has enhanced his leadership skills as he organises and creates agents of change through the various forums and platforms he has been involved in. Social justice , environment, education and health are his major contributions towards attainment of United Nations' Sustainable Goals. He is expectant of a great and bright future of world young leaders who impacts change in their society.
