ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" Leadership is an area that requires more engagement and broadening of thought in order for one to be insightful and be more understanding while making decisions. This is the chance that Millennium Fellowship provide for me. Going through this Fellowship is a moulding process that is not only futuristic to the achievements of SDGs but also to producing governance structures that enable society viable for survival and existence. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Edu-Resilience as the Future

This a project that aims at inculcating resilience within our education sytem amidst the thorny constrains that have led to some dropping out of school.

About the Millennium Fellow

Phelix Adwar is passionate and dedicated visionary leader from Kenya. He pursue Bachelor of arts in political science and sociology at the University of Nairobi and has interest in humanity and how future can accommodate coming humanity and their behavior.
Due to his difficult life experience resulting from the death of his parents Phelix has been known to be a champion in Resilience Education to encourage other needy society and children to be resilient no matter the thorny road of achieving their education.
With greatness and determination, he held student leadership positions and societal leadership, geared towards community development.
