ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

I am looking forward to fully participate as a Millennium Fellow, driven by my passion and resilience. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Niko Poa Project

Niko Poa Project is based on on SDG 1 No Poverty and SDG 4, quality education. It targets the youth between the ages of 18-28 years old. It aims to create awareness on Pan Africanism and how to use this philosophy to improve the socio- economic status of Africa. African entrepreneurship, African Agenda 2063 and SDGs on the African focus are among the things discussed. Through these critical discussions, we aim to inspire and assist the youth to get involved in African development in all facets of the Sustainable Development Goals.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rehema Mutheu Caleb. She is a law student at the University of Nairobi. She is very passionate about creating the change she would like to see in the world. Rehema's dream is to get into international policy as she is an active global citizen. Rehema is also passionate about empowering social projects created to assist marginalized or underprivileged groups such as youth, women and persons living with disabilities. In the future, Rehema wishes to be among the change makers in her generation, by successfully executing social projects and getting actively involved in international policy making.
