" My observations in traveling to both developing and advanced areas inspire me to find solutions. Being a Millennium Fellow will provide very crucial exposure to experienced officials and like-minded students involved in social impact, and therefore, allow me to broaden my perspective of our community. I am very excited to not only develop my leadership skills, but to also learn from others’ experiences in furthering the UN goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: National Pre-Health Community LLC

Worked with the business development committee of the non-profit National Pre-Health Community LLC to improve the business model, formulate visuals to represent data from the annual conference held in August, and create a report to share with potential donors/sponsors, conference members, and any students interested in our resources.

About the Millennium Fellow

Eesha Balar is a pre-medical student at the University of Pennsylvania who is passionate about traveling and has been involved with social impact at the level of her high school and beyond. Having had experience at her high school with organizing an awareness event for the United Nations’ World Water Day, she is extremely excited to continue furthering the UN goals. Eesha aspires to take action in her college community and globally, using what she has observed in her travels, and looks forward to collaborating and learning from social impact leaders in doing so.
