ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: UPenn for UNICEF

The UNICEF at Penn project aims to contribute to UNICEF’s global efforts of “advocating for the protection of children’s rights, helping meet their basic needs, and expanding their opportunities to reach their full potential.” The project seeks to raise awareness for international issues through various fundraiser and speaker events.

About the Millennium Fellow

Hasna Coskun is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying political science and data analytics. She is involved in several social justice advocacy related organizations on campus and in her local community. She enjoys researching topics related to public policy as a writer for Wharton Undergraduates in Public Policy and Impact Magazine. She is passionate about advocating for the protection of children’s rights internationally.
